We are seeking a highly organised and customer-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting customers in identifying and purchasing the right parts for their vehicles. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of our dealership.

Duties:

  • Assist customers in person, over the phone, or via email with their parts inquiries
  • Identify the correct parts needed based on customer descriptions or vehicle identification numbers (VIN)
  • Provide accurate price quotes and availability information to customers
  • Process parts orders and ensure timely delivery or pickup
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels
  • Collaborate with the service department to fulfill parts requests for vehicle repairs
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns regarding parts orders or availability
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role as a Parts Advisor or in an automotive parts department is preferred
  • Bilingual skills (English and another language) are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and their functions is desirable
  • Familiarity with phone etiquette and customer service best practices
