The PV7 takes Kia’s PBV approach a step further, offering more space and capacity for customers who need a little more from their vehicle.
The PV7 Cargo has been developed with businesses, logistics and fleet operations in mind. The Long version offers up to 6.1m³ of cargo space, while the High Roof version increases this to up to 8.0m³. Payload capacity can reach up to 1,200kg, with the Long version able to accommodate up to three Euro pallets.
For passenger transport, the PV7 Passenger can accommodate up to nine occupants globally, with flexible seating configurations designed around different requirements. The 7-seat version features removable seats, making it easier to adapt the interior when needed.
Electric power and practical technology
The PV7 has been developed as an all-electric vehicle, with 71.5kWh and 96.2kWh battery options.
The Long Range Cargo version offers more than 460km of all-electric range under the WLTP cycle, while 800V charging technology allows the battery to charge from 10 to 80% in the mid-20-minute range using a suitable 350kW DC fast charger.
It also features Vehicle-to-Load technology, allowing the PV7 to provide power to tools, equipment and other devices. For businesses, this adds another practical benefit to an already flexible vehicle.
Built for everyday use
Kia has also considered the experience of spending a working day behind the wheel.
The Cargo version features a ‘Mobile Workspace’ concept, with practical storage designed to keep essentials close at hand. The driver's area has also been designed with frequent entry and exit in mind, helping make everyday use more comfortable.
Meanwhile, the Passenger version takes a more lounge-inspired approach, with features including additional storage, rear climate controls and available power-sliding doors.
A new and exciting addition to the PBV range
The PV7 is part of Kia’s wider plans for its PBV range, with 23 variants planned following its 2027 launch. These will include different Cargo and Passenger versions, as well as Chassis Cab and conversion models for more specialist requirements.
The PV7 Passenger and Cargo models are planned to launch in Korea and Europe in the second half of 2027, with further variants and markets to follow.
The unveiling gives us an early look at the next stage of Kia’s electric PBV range — combining the practicality of a larger commercial vehicle with the flexibility and technology of an all-electric platform.
