The Acorn Family Fun Day

A huge thank you to Emma, Suzie and Sam for organising such a fantastic event. Everything ran so smoothly, and a special mention also goes to Suzie's husband, who did a brilliant job as our compère, keeping everyone entertained throughout the day.

The fun kicked off with balloons and face painting for the children, followed by a penalty shootout. We also enjoyed a lively game of Heads & Tails, with Adam from our MG Service department walking away with a £100 prize, kindly presented by James Platt.

The children had a fantastic time taking part in games on the field with the entertainment team, while colleagues, friends and families enjoyed the brilliant atmosphere.

As always, one of the highlights of the day was the tug of war! Acorn Kia Burtonwood took on Crewe in the opening round, with Crewe coming out on top. Warrington then faced Crewe and secured the next victory, but it was Acorn St Helens who stole the show, bringing out the big guns to beat everyone and be crowned the 2026 Acorn Family Fun Day Tug of War Champions!

To round off a fantastic afternoon, we were treated to a performance from our very own Elvis – Chris Watts from our Accounts team – who had everyone singing along to a selection of classic hits.

It really was a fantastic day and a wonderful opportunity to bring together colleagues and their families from across all of our dealerships and brands. A huge thank you to our directors for organising such a memorable event and for recognising the hard work, dedication and commitment of everyone who helps make Acorn Motor Group such a great place to work.
