The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to obtain a car. At Acorn Mitsubishi, we’re delighted to support the Motability Scheme and offer a range of fantastic new cars to motorists.

How does the Motability work?

Motorists with a disability can use their Higher Rate Mobility Component Disability Allowance or War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement to meet the cost of leasing a car. Once the application has been accepted, you pay all, or part, of your allowance to Motability for the period of the agreement.

There are different schemes available which help disabled people obtain a vehicle. These are Contract Hire and Hire Purchase. Customers can choose a new car every three years with insurance, road tax, servicing, tyres and breakdown cover all included. A wide range of adaptations are also available.

Our experienced team will be able to discuss the full range of options with you. Simply call in to our Acorn Mitsubishi dealership in Birmingham today for more information.

Free rear sensors

Rear-parking sensors are included free of charge on all Mitsubishi Motability cars where rear sensors are not already included as standard. No cash alternative is available. Applications must be received and accepted between January 1st and March 31st, 2012 by Motability Operations Limited. Please contact us for more information.
